If you find yourself wandering the bustling streets of Sham Shui Po in Hong Kong, make sure to keep an eye out for the hidden gem that is Le Petit Salon. Tucked away on the fifth floor of the Dragon Centre shopping arcade, this charming café is easily missed, but well worth the search. Its location may be a bit challenging to find, nestled in the back west corner of the arcade, but those who persevere are rewarded with some of the area's finest brews.

While it may not boast a sprawling seating area, with just a couple of cozy spots to park yourself, the intimacy of Le Petit Salon adds to its appeal. Here, you’ll experience not just coffee, but a passion for crafting the perfect cup. Patrons rave about the quality of coffee offered, which is both affordable and exceptional, with beverages averaging around 35 HKD. Whether you prefer a classic iced latte, which one customer described as having a delightful hint of sweetness, or something a bit stronger, each sip transports you into the café's warm, engaging atmosphere, even amidst the thrumming energy of the mall.

Customer reviews highlight the café's charm and the attentive service provided by its enthusiastic baristas. Kilo Lima noted it felt more like a coffee stall than a full-fledged shop, emphasizing the exceptional coffee over any lack of ambiance—making it the perfect pit stop for those looking to escape the mall's hustle and bustle. Andrew Frappa succinctly echoes this sentiment, calling it "worth it" despite the initial challenges of locating the café.

The ambiance at Le Petit Salon is understated yet welcoming, perfect for a brief reprieve from shopping or a mid-afternoon coffee fix. Christian COMMARMOND shares insight into the café’s recent move, pinpointing its new location at shop 111A, just a few turns away from the main escalator—further proving that every visit invites the thrill of discovery.

While the coffee takes center stage, keep in mind that Le Petit Salon is also surrounded by other delightful finds, including quaint Japanese-style food and dessert shops nearby. So, not only can you indulge in a fantastic cup of coffee, but you can also grab a sweet treat to round out your experience.

In a city so steeped in fast-paced excitement, Le Petit Salon stands as a serene oasis offering quality coffee, keen service, and a cozy, albeit compact, atmosphere. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this café deserves a spot on your must-visit list in Hong Kong.

A bit hard to find and few little spaces to sit, but worth it.

On the fifth floor of the Dragon Centre shopping arcade ... in the back west corner, hidden away from almost all traffic and sight, is the most delightfully wonderful coffee shop, Le Petit Salon. It’s hardly a shop and more of a coffee stall. Not much for atmosphere or seating, but very much for outstanding coffees. On the day of my visit it was manned by two eager and attentive young men who were quick to serve. I sampled a cafe mocha, laté, and baby chino. The quality of all was second to none in the area and light years ahead of Starbucks and PCC. The late was smooth and mellow, wonderful light with soft foam and texture to the last drop. How this little gem survives hidden away, I have no idea but it is by far the best coffee I’ve had in Hong Kong, ever. If this shop was closer to my home or had locations on other islands, I’d patronize daily if not twice a day.

Tucked in one of the alleys in Sham Sui Po Dragon Centre’s Level 1, with only two seats available. Great place to get your coffee fix.

It was a good find inside Apple Mall. It was indeed quite hidden, the more inviting. It gave us a reprieve from all the buzz in Dragon Centre. Coffee was not too bad. Quite difficult to find a better one so this was acceptable. Price was appealing. Service behind the counter was good. For a small stall, even more appealing if they kept it tidy. PS loved that they are fans of the Avengers.

Lovely iced latte (I ordered it without ice) with a hint of sweetness. Price was more affordable than most real coffee shops. The place was a bit hard to find, buried among the small retail stores.

First, the old shop on fifth floor is definitely closed. The new shop is at shop 111A, at the top of the side escalator, turn left, then two times right. Barista is a top professional. Coffee is good, and place is quiet. Coffee is around 35hkd. Close to it, super Japanese style food and desserts shop.
